About Our Beers

Where do the best beers come from?
The best beers in the world are made in very small batches. They're rarely made by large commercial brewers. They are more often hand-crafted at small, micro and craft breweries by skilled brewmasters who care for every single batch of beer they produce.

Who has access to these beers?
Unless you live close to these small breweries or "know someone" who will send them to you, you'll probably never get to try a majority of these great beers. This is where we begin our search. We focus on small breweries producing beers with limited availability and low distribution from across the United States and around the world.

Where do you find these breweries?
Microbreweries are located all over the world. The good news is that we never focus on a particular region. This means our members get to try these special beers from all across America and famous European powerhouses such as England, Germany, and Belgium. Thanks to an international network of contacts World Beer Direct is able to scout out these fine brews just for you.

How do you select the beers for the club?
With an uncountable number of beers in the global marketplace, starting with a database containing thousands of listings, ratings, and descriptions helps. Ultimately, it’s a decade of experience, and an expert panel that keeps us current. Submissions from the expert panel are finally sampled by our "Down to Earth" panel, which makes sure the selections are enjoyable for you and me. That means the beer selections are superb month after month!
